Freedom After Juneteenth, Episode 1

Police Brutality & Trauma

Karamu House's next original, virtual production, "Freedom After Juneteenth," is now available on YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Roku, and Fire TV. Episode one tackles the very real issues of police brutality and resulting trauma. "Freedom After Juneteenth” is presented through the generous support of Bank of America.

This first episode specifically explores the very real issues of both police brutality and the resulting trauma in Black America. This episode includes both an artistic response and community dialogue to these two issues.
